Downton Abbey... A "Masterpiece" Indeed.
Once again, I have indulged myself in British television. This time, I’ve become obsessed with, none other than, Downton Abbey. Already finished with its second season, it’s become a huge international sensation. I was browsing through Netflix a couple weeks ago and ‘Abbey’ popped up as a suggestion (since I’ve watched Sherlock, Primeval, etc.). A week later, I went through the entire series to date… and now I’m already highly anticipating the 3rd season, which comes out later this fall.
This show’s great for a few reasons. 1) The acting is phenomenal. 2) The storyline isn’t too crowded, but full enough for a great show. 3) Who doesn’t like to watch the lives of the richest of the rich, especially in early England? 4) Who doesn’t like to watch the lives of the help, especially when they are practically puppet-masters of their bosses? 5) Maggie Smith, Maggie Smith, Maggie Smith.
So, go check it out. It's definitely a new favorite of mine. In the near future, I'll talk about an "American" show that I've recently come to love. Till then!
Here is the first episode. Enjoy.
Also, the estate featured in "Downton Abbey" is actually a real estate in England called the Highclere Castle.

Here are my favorite songs of the week!
1) Set Fire To the Rain (Dub-step Remix) - Adele
2) Pictures - Benjamin Francis Leftwich
3) Somebody That I Used To Know - Gotye

Podcast: Episode 26 ('Once', Modern Family + Florence)
This week, I've decided to shorten things up... and not because I'm tired of talking, but because I wanted to push out a podcast that has a good quality sound. I had to shorten it because saving the podcast in a higher quality takes up more space. Anyways, I hope you like the music I picked out. See you next week.
1) Saturday Love - Angels & Airwaves
2) We Found Love - Rihanna
3) Never Let Me Go - Florence + The Machines

This week, I talk a little about how Halloween was a little disappointing this year... It's my favorite Holiday and yet the most boring night of my life. Also, I touch up a little about J.K. Rowling and her "almost" character misfortune... and of course I feature brand new music. Hope you enjoy!

(Short Post) Netflix hears us!
Written by Colton K
I just received an email from 'Netflix' stating that they were going to do away with the new company, Quikster. Although their pricing is going to remain unchanged, at least there will be no hassle if you want to receive dvd's. So, at least there's some good news to come with Netflix's current changes... Or "un-changes".
It's sad that I'm happy about something the company isn't doing, rather than the alternative.
